I hate to say this, but I preferred Draco Sinister. At least THAT had action and a fantasy plot. If I wanted people yammering at each other in flat prose for a dozen pages at a time, I'd reread Atlas Shrugged! D: (Wait... Atlas Shrugged has action. Never mind, this is much worse. >_<)

...Frighteningly enough, Cassandra Claire's dialogue has fallen to Ayn Rand levels. I cannot believe this. I think her writing quality is actually decreasing with time. O_o I thought that only happened when you had an editor and kicked him or her to the curb. But the dialogue is growing ever more wooden, the prose ever more pretentious, and...

...Screw this, I'm going to merrily think about my City of Bones remix where Jace and Clary actually are brother and sister, the characters aren't sociopaths, the Downworlders aren't just supernatural angsty fluffybunnies and are monsters, you can read two pages without falling down a plothole, and Valentine is actually a sympathetic villain (albeit a somewhat unhinged one at this point, but sympathetic). GAAAAAAAAAH!
